From Farm Girl to Artist and Author
My name is Corinne Kelly Avery, and I’m an artist and children’s book author and illustrator. I’m finally living my dream of publishing my first children’s book, Little Hawaii, which I both authored and illustrated. Inspired by my childhood memories of growing up on a farm—long before the days of the Internet or social media—my entertainment was simple: “Just go outdoors and play!” I was blessed to be part of a large family, with the beauty of nature right outside my door.
I grew up with a deep love for the outdoors, farm life, and the people I shared it with. Both my story and my paintings reflect the joy and blessings I experienced throughout my journey.
Over the past 20 years, I have embraced the art of plein air painting, traveling across the USA to visit National Parks, as well as exploring the landscapes of Italy, Ireland, and England. Through both my books and my artwork, I strive to share the joy and blessings I’ve experienced throughout my life
